The aim of the Seminar was to raise trainees’ awareness on gender steretoypes, IPV and child abuse and neglect issues and build their capacity in order to be able to implement the “GEAR against IPV” Workshops with students at school. The Seminar besides the theoretical part included also a large practical part, conducted via a simulated workshop, with trainees adopting the role of a student. - experience modeled activities “through students’ eyes”
- increase their knowledge on gender equality, IPV, sexual violence (SV) and child abuse and neglect (CAN) issues
- develop and exercise skills enabling them to a) design, implement and evaluate students’ Workshops, and b) identify, support and refer victims of violence (IPV/SV/CAN)
Twenty one out of the 73 trained teachers from the 2nd and 3rd Training Seminar implemented awareness raising workshops with more than 400 students.
